Reviews & Trust
Why there is no star rating on this site
An earlier version of this Site displayed 4.95 stars from 14,280 reviews. There was no review system. The ratings were typed into the page by hand, the reviewer names were invented, and no real person had ever left feedback. It has been removed, and no rating will be displayed again until genuine, verifiable reviews exist.
A rating that means nothing is worse than no rating at all, particularly on a site asking you to trust it with payslips, contracts and tax forms.
1. Review policy
Every review published by the Operator is subject to all of the following. These are commitments, not aspirations.
- Real people only. Every review comes from a person who actually used the Service.
- Permission first. No name, photo, or words are published without the reviewer's consent.
- Never purchased. The Operator does not pay for reviews, does not offer products or refunds in exchange for reviews, and does not incentivise reviews in any way.
- Never auto-generated. Reviews are not written by software or authored by the Operator on someone's behalf, including by rewriting a reviewer's words.
- Never gated by sentiment. Reviews are not filtered to remove criticism. Negative and critical reviews are published.
- Never suppressed for being inconvenient. A review is removed only where it is unlawful, defamatory, contains personal data that should not be public, or is a spam submission.
- No selective solicitation. Review requests are not sent only to people who reacted well.
2. Where to leave a review
Two independent, publicly verifiable platforms. Neither is operated by, or influenced by, the Operator.
Review on Trustpilot Review on Google
Google reviews are available only where a verified Google Business Profile exists for the Service. If that link does not work for you, Trustpilot is the active route and is what the Operator monitors. A Trustpilot profile may be claimed by the site owner, but its content is not editable by us.
3. When you are asked, and why it is not a fixed schedule
The review prompt appears only after you have successfully completed a real task three times. It never appears on a first visit, never after an error, and never in exchange for anything.
This is deliberate. A review request sent to someone who has not used the product produces noise rather than evidence. Asking people who have used it produces information. The threshold is based on demonstrated use, not on a calendar date, and it never depends on how positive the interaction was.
4. How the Operator responds
Critical reviews are answered publicly, calmly, and specifically. Where a review identifies a real fault, the typical response is to say what was changed. Where the Operator believes a review is factually wrong, the response explains why with reference to what the software actually does, without disputing the reviewer's experience.
An unanswered complaint is a worse trust signal than the complaint itself.
5. Why no rating appears in search results
The Service deliberately does not publish AggregateRating structured data. Google requires ratings to
originate from genuine users, and emitting the markup without a real review system is a direct breach of their
structured data policy, exposing the site to manual action.
Until genuine reviews exist, no rating markup is published. If a rating ever appears in a search result for this site, it will be real.
6. How to verify this page yourself
Claims about a website are cheap. These checks are not.
- Read the Privacy Policy, which states precisely what is collected. It is short, and what it omits is as informative as what it includes.
- Read the Terms of Use, section 5, which lists every known limitation of every tool without qualification.
- Run any tool with your browser's network panel open. There is no upload request. That is the entire architecture, and it is directly observable.
- Review the source code, which is public on GitHub, so it can be read rather than taken on trust.
- Check the review history on Trustpilot. A brand-new profile with no reviews is itself honest information; a page claiming thousands of reviews with none to inspect was not.
7. Reporting a review that is not genuine
If you believe a review of this Service is fabricated, purchased, or otherwise not genuine, email accts.pak@gmail.com. Reports are investigated, and a review that is found to be fabricated or purchased is removed and reported to the platform. Equally, a report that appears to be an attempt to suppress genuine criticism will not succeed.
Frequently asked questions
Why does pdff.online not show a star rating?
Because an earlier version displayed 4.95 stars from 14,280 reviews when no review system existed and the ratings were invented. Those were removed. No rating will be shown again until genuine, verifiable reviews exist.
Are reviews purchased or incentivised?
No. The operator does not pay for reviews, does not offer anything in exchange, does not auto-generate them, and does not filter them by sentiment. Critical reviews are published and answered.
Why do you not publish review star ratings in search results?
Google requires ratings to come from genuine users. Emitting AggregateRating structured data without a real review system breaches their policy and risks manual action, so it is deliberately not published.
When will I be asked for a review?
Only after you have successfully completed a real task three times. The prompt never appears on a first visit, after an error, or in exchange for anything. It depends on demonstrated use rather than a calendar date.
